Rules

Terms and Conditions for Physiotherapy Services.

General Guidelines

To ensure a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all patients:

Clients are expected to behave in accordance with generally accepted standards of decency and respect.

The clinic reserves the right to refuse service or remove individuals who display offensive, aggressive, or disruptive behavior.

As many of our patients may have mobility challenges, priority seating is always given to those with difficulty walking.

Personal belongings such as coats and bags may be placed in the waiting area at your own risk. We strongly advise not leaving valuables unattended, as the clinic cannot be held responsible for theft, damage, or loss of property on the premises.

Magazines or reading material provided in the waiting area should be returned after use.

Smoking, vaping, and the use of similar products are strictly prohibited throughout the clinic and surrounding premises.

Appointments and Scheduling

Our physiotherapy treatments are available by appointment only:

Appointments can be booked by phone or directly at the reception desk.

A referral from your GP is usually not required. As our physiotherapists are Direct Access Certified (DTF), you can schedule an appointment without prior consultation from your doctor.

Home-based physiotherapy is only available with a valid doctor’s prescription.

Patients must arrive on time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at +31 6 81830484 at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments or late cancellations will be charged in full.

At your first visit, please bring a valid ID and your health insurance card.

For hygiene reasons, patients are expected to attend appointments washed and in clean attire.

Any exercise equipment borrowed from the clinic must be returned by the final session. Non-returned items will be billed to the patient. Equipment is not lent to individuals who are not under current treatment.

Treatment Policy

We are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered physiotherapy care:

Before beginning any treatment, your physiotherapist will explain the procedures and expected outcomes. Patients should communicate any concerns, objections, or limitations immediately.

If cultural, religious, or personal beliefs affect certain treatment methods, this must be disclosed during the first appointment so an appropriate care plan can be arranged.

Most treatments are carried out in private consultation rooms, ensuring confidentiality and comfort. Group exercise sessions or equipment-based therapy may involve other patients.

If a trainee or third party is present during treatment, your consent will always be requested beforehand.

All physiotherapists and staff are required to act professionally and respectfully at all times. Should any inappropriate situation occur, an alternative physiotherapist will be assigned, or the treatment may be discontinued in agreement with the patient.

All medical information and personal details shared during treatment remain strictly confidential and will never be disclosed to third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
